We Want You At The Puck Drop!
School's out for summer...and no one is more excited about that fact than the Gladiators! But before you beat a path down to the shores (beware the alligators) there's a little bit of unfinished business here at home.
Considering that the days for the Gladiators three Kelly Cup Finals home games are a Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the team is deviating from the normal start times to allow fans a chance to attend all three games. (Yes, it's that important!)
Monday being Memorial Day, the Gladiators incorporated the holiday into their plans, opting for a 5:05 start time. Which, when calculated, still leaves you plenty of quality lake time. On Wednesday and Thursday, the organization moved the puck drop back to 7:35 to allow fans the chance to spend some quality time in rush hour without worrying about missing the game.

In the feature, McGourty writes :
The Gwinnett Gladiators first-game loss to the Alaska Aces in Anchorage in the Kelly Cup finals was surprising ... and not surprising.
