The Gwinnett Gladiators and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar are proud to announce a new Applebee’s Power Play offer that will take effect beginning with the Gladiators home game on Sunday, January 29th. At all Gladiators home games for the remainder of the 2005-2006 season, if the Gladiators score a power play goal at any home game, fans may redeem their ticket stub for a FREE ENTREE with the purchase of any entree of greater or equal value.
"As a charter partner of the Gwinnett Gladiators, we are proud of our association with the team and with the Applebee’s Power Play promotion,” said Applebee’s Director of Marketing Gary Cockerill. “We met with the team and decided that it was time to up the ante’ a little bit, so to speak, in order to keep the promotion fresh. We also listened to some good customer feedback that indicated that fans would appreciate more selection. We believe that the Free Entree with the purchase of another entree allows fans to receive a great deal with a great selection. We look forward to having Gladiators fans enjoy the offer following each game the Glads score during the promotion."
In addition to the value, the Applebee’s Power Play offer comes with virtually no restrictions other than the purchase of another entree of greater or equal value. Fans may take their Gladiators game ticket from any home game that the team scores a power play goal and redeem it at any Atlanta-area Applebee’s restaurant. The offer is good for dine in service for one week after the game.
"I think that it is important to both the Gladiators and Applebee’s to keep the Power Play Promotion fresh and exciting for the fans,” said Gladiators President and General Manager Steve Chapman. “I think that this offer definitely widens the appeal, the selection and the value for our fans. I imagine that it won’t take long for a few of our more savvy supporters to realize that they can get two steak dinners for the price of one whenever we tally a power play goal."
