Team Award Winners Announced

The Gwinnett Gladiators honored team award winners last night at an organizational dinner at Dave and Busters in Duluth. The Gladiators organization honored the Team MVP, Unsung Hero, Rookie of the Year, Most Improved and Best Defenseman for the 2008-09 season. In addition, the organization honored the Office MVP. The team awards were voted on by the players while the Office MVP was determined by a vote of the organizational staff.

Winners for the 2008-09 season were:
Most Imrpoved: Pat Batemam
Unsung Hero: Andy Brandt
Rookie of the Year: Matt Siddall
Best Defenseman: Jeff Mason
Team MVP: Jordan Fox
Office MVP: Tara "MVP" Sipma

Gwinnett opens the Division Semi-Finals against the Florida Everblades on Friday, April 10th at the Germain Arena at 7:30 p.m. The Gladiators will host games 3 & 4 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Thursday, April 16th at 7:05 p.m. and April 17th at 7:35 p.m. at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. Game 5 of the series, if necessary, will be at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Sunday, April 19th at 4:05 p.m.
